Are you accepting new clients?
Yes, we are currently accepting new clients residing in Texas.
How is therapy conducted?
Therapy sessions can be done in person, through video conferencing or by phone. Email and text message options are also available on a case by case basis.
How long/how often will we meet?
The comprehensive clinical assessment will guide the treatment plan, length and frequency of sessions will be based on individual needs.
Is online therapy confidential/secure?
It is our highest priority to maintain confidentiality and security for our clients. We strictly adhere to state regulations for confidentiality and we use only HIPAA compliant platforms for online therapy. More detailed information will be provided in your initial intake packet.
What payment options are available?
We accept credit/debit card payments for services. Session fees are paid by clients at the time of service. Session fees are securely processed through our online scheduling/payment system using the credit/debit card on file. Please visit the rates and insurance page under getting started for more information about current fees.
Do you take insurance?
I am an in-network provider with the following insurance panels:
* United Behavioral Health
* Blue Cross Blue Shield
* Cigna Behavioral Health
* Optum Behavioral Health
* Oxford
* Oscar
I am currently considered an “out-of-network provider” for all other health insurance plans. This means that if we work together, you will be required to pay for services in each session, and I can provide a superbill which you may use to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, however, I cannot guarantee whether your insurance company will provide reimbursement. It is important that you find out exactly what mental health services your insurance policy covers. If you have questions about your coverage, be sure to discuss them with your plan administrator or your human resources officer.
We encourage you to weigh the benefits of not using insurance (e.g. you do not require a mental health diagnosis to engage in services; you have greater freedom to choose the therapist that is the best fit for you; you and your therapist are able to make the decisions about the length, format and nature of your treatment; you have increased privacy and confidentiality) and the benefits of using insurance (e.g. you may pay less out of pocket for therapy, after deductibles have been met).
